Charger Nation, we're calling out to you!
We are looking for help in collecting photos and information for a new project we are working on at West Noble High School. Our request to you is simple:
We would like to know if you or someone you know were a college athlete, and if so, where did you attend, what sport, and how many years were you on the squad. While we know there are professional bowlers, fishermen, BMX riders, etc., we'd like to keep it to the 18 varsity sports offered at West Noble High School.
We are also looking to gather up a list of our West Noble High School graduates who served in the military. Specifically, we are searching for branch, years served, and rank.
If you have information, please reach out to WNHS athletic director Tom Schermerhorn at schermerhornto@westnoble.k12.in.us or (260) 894-3191 ext. 3055.

A great way to reward being good people! Well deserved for all who made the trip, even if the water was a little cold!

After a pair of successful stops in the Ligonier community in recent weeks, the coffee trailer will now be brought to campus for the Chargers to enjoy!

It's graduation season and West Noble Elementary celebrated it's three students from Mrs. Nelson's class who are moving to the middle school next year. A room full of supporters saw Valentin Calderon, Dimitri Gomez and Brayden Huffine get their certificates in a short ceremony Thursday afternoon. All three were praised for their hard work, their positive attitudes and improved work in the classroom.

History was made at West Noble Wednesday evening. It wasn't quite the backdrop of Notre Dame Stadium under a sunny September sky, but Charger Field and West Noble Unified Track and Field hosted its first-ever Unified meet, welcoming in Wawasee for the historic dual.
Wawasee would win four of the five events to secure a 98-81 win, but as the rain began the drive sideways as the final 4x100 relay runners came home, it was a site to see as West Noble has now hosted a Unified sporting event.
Top times for West Noble included Dominic Miller in the 100 dash (15.99) and in long jump (8-7), Riley Barth in the 400 dash (1:34.07), Lilyen Lindsay in the shot put (19-7.5), and the Charger 4x100 relay won with a time of 1:11.88.

West Noble Middle School continued to celebrate its success in the classroom as 19 individuals who passed their WIDA tests were rewarded with a pizza party this afternoon.
Each of the students were able to bring a friend to the party, which was held to highlight a 5.0 overall proficiency of the WIDA testing, which began in late January. Typically taking 5-7 years to master, these students were primarily fifth graders and were a touch ahead of schedule per EL Instructor Danielle Long. All of the students tested at or above levels which cover all content areas in all forums.
Very well done, we are proud of our latest WIDA success students!
