Our West Noble Spotlight on Success for early June was on the progress West Noble Middle School made in several areas.
Principal Ashley Bradley spoke on the participation numbers and success the Emotional Development students encountered this past school year. Led by teacher Gretchen Schaadt and paras Abby Cox and Freya Suddon, the program oversaw 15 students in grades 5-8, including a student from outside the district that is choosing to stay at West Noble in part to the success they had in the program. West Noble Middle School is anticipating 14 in the program this upcoming school year.
WNMS athletic director Gene Teel then noted the achievements of the spring sports, where boys and girls track as well as co-ed golf all saw big things happen. Golf won the Jr. NECC title for the first time ever, beating Angola by 12 strokes led by individual champion Brooks Wilson. Track also had a monster season, with the girls repeating as Jr. NECC champions and three athletes - Lydia Mead, Ashley Belmares and Paulette Garcia - all winning titles. Sully Shrock and the boys 4x400 relay also won Jr. NECC titles this spring and four girls school records were set over the course of the season.

Charger athletes and their families,

We are incredibly excited to start working with your students and supporting them over their high school sports careers.
To help us get a head start on next year, we ask that you please complete your student-athlete’s paperwork via FinalForms as soon as possible. Having this information on file ensures we can quickly access crucial details and keep your student safe in the event of any incident or emergency.
How to Access FinalForms:
Visit our website at wnchargers.net.
Look for the "FinalForms" link, located right next to the Chargers emblem.
Taking a few minutes to complete this now will ensure your student is cleared and ready to play on day one! If you have any questions or run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Athletic Department for assistance.

Our most recent Spotlight on Success at West Noble was our theatre production team, Theatre33.
Theatre33 is dealing with some clutter and headaches now, but the short term pains will hopefully be long term gains. Renovations to the stage, storage areas and the theatre hub in general this summer should help Theatre33 bring better show productions in the future.

Monday night was the time for the West Noble choirs to come together for its spring showcase.
Sixth grade through high school all performed three-song medleys, the sixth and seventh grades also coming together to perform 'Better Together' and the eighth and high school ensembles also combining to close the night with 'Stronger Together'.
Each of the grades were also presented with year-end awards from choir director Sarah Sponseller, who has absorbed the high school choir this semester along with her work with the middle schoolers.
Great show overall, keep working hard!

West Noble Middle School took over BizTown in Fort Wayne these past two days! Part of the Junior Achievement program, BizTown is a hands-on program designed to give kids real-life experiences about how businesses work, how to function within a professional construct, how Uncle Sam collects, and how to budget money both personally and within the business.
Junior Achievement's staff kept the students on a strict schedule with preset tasks, and allowed them to 'earn money' to purchase 'goods' within BizTown at the various business spaces.
A huge THANK YOU to the staff at Junior Achievement and all of our West Noble volunteers for taking on our fifth grade classes and showing a great amount of patience as the kids learned what it's like in the real world!
