We had a great weekend of athletics at West Noble, but we also had a great week of activities going on around our campuses as well. Our primary mission is to give our students the tools to learn and grow, and here are a few examples of how they are doing that. Highlighting these moments will be a regular occurrence on our social channels, so be on the lookout for these galleries all year long!
Among the images are Family Time at both Turning Point and West Noble Elementary, outdoor classes and scenery in Charger Woods, the recycling event at Turning Point, and elementary kids having fun at recess.

Piggybacking the momentum from a great Friday night of football, cross country opened its competition season with entry in the Elkhart Christian Academy Invite and volleyball hosted its 11th annual West Noble Charger Invite.
The girls cross team sent out eight of its best runners and came away with a team title, the four pairs from the relay-style Hokum Karem format topped a good groups of local programs, while the boys showed well among some of the area's top outfits.
Volleyball was oh, so close in its pursuit of a title, tying for first in its pool play, but lost on a tiebreaker and settled for third on the podium.
Great weekend of Charger athletics, and we're just getting started! Go Chargers!

Great start to the season. Chargers scored 35 points in the first half en route to a 35-8 win over backyard rival Central Noble. West Noble will open its home calendar next week hosting Wawasee, which upset Jimtown, 10-9, earlier this evening.

A quick reminder of our recycling event at Turning Point this Friday and Saturday.
The fine people at Turning Point also mentioned that if you need a pickup done for your donated scrap metal, please give them a call or send an email!

It was a hot opening weekend for the high school sports schedule at large, where football opened up with a scrimmage Friday night hosting South Bend Riley, then the volleyball and soccer calendars opened, all hosting matchups at home on Saturday.
Both the girls and boys varsity soccer programs fell to Fort Wayne Blackhawk via shutouts, while the JV boys soccer rallied for a 3-3 tie against Blackhawk. Volleyball saw its C team and JV lose in two to East Noble before the varsity swept the Knights to close a long evening of athletics in Ligonier.

Not wasting much time, Turning Point was already out serving in the community. Today, both the morning and afternoon sessions were in Charger Woods working on the YMCA learning area on the southern end of the trail system. Building a net, refinishing a couple of wooden structures, cleaning up seating areas and working out some of the overgrowth from the summer were all on the checklists this morning.
The preschoolers will be in school in a couple weeks and will be frequently utilizing their wooded area as part of West Noble's aim to be learning outside the classroom approach.

If you have that old TV antenna hiding in the grass next to your garage, or a hammock that you're not going to use anymore, Turning Point would love to take your scrap metal. See the graphic for more information for next weekend's Recycle For A Reason. Your scrap metal will help kids in our community grow closer to their educational goals!

Welcome back West Noble staff! Today staff were back on campus, beginning with an orientation this morning in Charger Hall followed by a trail walk and breeze through of the Owen House on the back side of campus. Dr. Lowe shared a positive and entertaining message with the entire staff to kick off the morning and encouraged staff and students to realize and utilize their surroundings - physically and literally - as part of his message for the upcoming school year. Staff then broke off to their individual buildings for meetings and last minutes touches to classrooms before tomorrow's big day.
A great Wednesday morning in hopes of a better Thursday morning!

One of the new shiny toys on the West Noble campus this fall is the weight room addition to the high school. Here's a peak at the room before the high school athletes begin using it in full. At long last, the project is almost completely done, and it looks gorgeous!

Wanted to let everyone know about some updates with our West Noble website!
As our staffs have filtered back into their buildings and are prepping for the new school year, updates for the upcoming year are also trickling in. We have been updating new information to our site as it's been presented, and will continue to do so as the school year begins.
We are excited to be unveiling a couple new pages in the coming weeks featuring our Student Resource Officers as well as our West Noble High School music department! We will continue to bring you the information you need, the stories you like to see highlighted, and the people who make West Noble a great place to learn and grow!
